HI-TECH OPTICAL ATTENDS SAFETY FAIR

The Delphi Health and Safety Fair Promotes a Safe and Healthy workplace for their Employees
Saginaw, MI. (September 12th & 13th).
Hi-Tech Optical attended Delphi’s Safety Fair to help promote eye safety. Hi-Tech’s priority, injury prevention education, is promoted through their safety eyewear program. Their goal is to improve overall eye health and safety at Delphi by identifying, implementing and educating employees on measures to prevent and reduce eye injuries in the workplace. Brian Schneider, head of Hi-Tech Optical’s sales force who attended the fair on Hi-Tech’s behalf says, "Eye safety is very important to Delphi; and educating their employees is key to preventing thousands of eye injuries and saving thousands of dollars." Eye protection must always be worn to help prevent eye injuries, but Brian adds: "Eye protection must also be properly maintained. Glasses that are scratched and dirty can reduce vision, may cause glare and contribute to accidents." The fair brought together many departments as well as community partners to give the Delphi community valuable information regarding safety. Many of the employees took the time to visit the booths and discuss their safety issues. Hi-Tech Optical would like to thank Delphi for having us be a part of their safety awareness program and for spreading the importance of eye safety.
Remember: Safety eyewear is cheap, eyes are priceless!
